Question: I can't get the game to work on my new Windows 98/Me system.
Answer: Click on the Start bar, then "Run." Type dxdiag and click "Ok". Click on the "display" tab. Then disable DirectDraw (this will also automatically disable Direct3d as well) and then click "Exit" and try running the game. It SHOULD work. In case if it doesn't, there is another fix:
Goto the Display properties (either through the control panel or right clicking on your desktop and then on properties.) Then click on the "Settings" tab and then click on the "advanced" button. Once there, click on the "Performance" tab. There you will find "Hardware acceleration". Move the slider to the left two notches. Click ok, and you'll have to reboot. Then after that, the game should run just fine. But the catch is you can't play any other newer games with it set like this. You will have to put it back to full in order for those to work, which is why the first solution is better normally. It's easier and you don't have to reboot.
