Miscellaneous Cheats

Toyota Celica

In order to drive the Toyota Celica, you must complete Arcade and Championship on the Pro level, coming first in each. Now use the same car you used on the first Arcade track (Corsica) in Time Trial mode and set a lap record under 1 minute. The barrier on th left after the start should disappear. Drive down the lane to obtain the Celica.

All Tracks + Lock Off

When you turn on the game and the Infogrames logo appears, quickly press Up, Down, then hold Triangle and press Circle. The words "Lock Off" will appear on the center of the screen in green letters. This allows you to access all tracks in Arcade and Championship mode, this also enables you to enter the cheats below.

Enter the below cheats during the Infogrames logo screen, and they must be done after the Lock Off cheat has been activated. If you own the PAL version of the game, use this sequence of buttons: Up, Down, Circle, Up, Down, then hold Triangle and press Circle.

Unlimited Time

Press L1 and the words "Time Off" will appear; now the race won't end if the timer runs out in Arcade mode.

Narrow Tracks

Press L2 and the words "Narrow On" will appear; now the tracks will be more narrow in Arcade mode.

Jeep and Rollercoaster Track (PAL Version Only)

Hold Left, then press R1, a message will appear; a small Jeep will replace the Peugeot 106 Maxi and a Rollercoaster track will replace Sweden track 1.

Restart Race Option

Hold Left, then press R2, the words "Restart On" will appear; this adds a 'Restart' option to the Pause menu in both Arcade and Championship modes, allowing you to restart a race at any time.

All Cheats

Hold Left, L1, L2, R1, and R2, a message will appear for each cheat enabled.

Debug Mode

Press Left, let go, then quickly press Right, the words "Full Debug" will appear; this adds a 'Memory' option to the Pause menu and shows debugging data on the screen.
